The Inland Revenue has joined forces with Customs & Excise and the new department is Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs ( HMRC ).

Until 2002, I was a Tax Inspector for 25 years with the Inland Revenue and worked as a senior investigator in charge of an investigation team in West Yorkshire, also as the case consultant for the Leeds area which covered Leeds, Dewsbury, Pontefract and Wakefield and I was a member of the National Investigation Quality and Control Unit covering the whole of the UK.
Since I left the Inland Revenue, I have worked as a tax investigation consultant for accountants, mainly in Yorkshire, whose clients were under investigation but also for clients who did not have an accountant and you can see testimonials from some of the accountants I have acted for on my testimonials page.
